Set on a struggling family pig farm somewhere in America, the play is a darkly comic exploration of pigs, sustainable agriculture, the federal government and American heroic myths.
The Pig Farm cast and creative team is filled with Tony winners. Kotis won Tonys in 2002 for book and score with composer/co-lyricist Mark Hollmann for Urinetown. Finneran won the Best Featured Actress in a Play Tony Award in 2002 for Noises Off. O'Hare, who is currently starring in Broadway's Sweet Charity, won the 2003 Best Featured Actor in a Play Tony for Take Me Out. Rando won in 2002 for his direction of Urinetown. Marshall-Green is currently starring in the Peanuts-inspired comedy Dog Sees God off-Broadway.
